Mike
Ruppert and Libbie HaLevy talk nuclear
On tonight’s LIFEBOAT HOUR at 9 PM (Eastern) – We will be joined by Libbe Halevy of NuclearHotseat.com. She’s an incredibly accomplished journalist, producer and broadcaster who keeps her eagle eye on all things nuclear and newsworthy. It has been a difficult week for the nuclear industry with many mishaps and lots of things we need to pay attention to that are not just in Japan, but in our own back yards.
Along
with people like Arnie Gunderson, Helen Caldicott, Mimi German, Chris
Busby, and Hattie Hatrick Penry, Libbe is one of a rare and dedicated
handful of people who help us to understand and come to grips with
the perils of living in a nuclear age fraught with many perils from
many directions.
She
is also the author of a new book “Yes, I Glow in the Dark: One Mile
from Three Mile Island to Fukushima and Beyond”, which is available
on Kindle eBooks and has been doing very well. She puts out a weekly
podcast which is a “must” for all who are awake and aware of the
dangers of nuclear power.
Here’s
what Amazon says about her book:
“In
1979, Libbe HaLevy went east to visit friends and ended up trapped
one mile from the leaking nuclear reactor at Three Mile Island. This
harrowing, deeply compassionate and surprisingly humorous book
follows her through decades of Post-Traumatic Stress, failed Broadway
aspirations and successful personal healing to her current empowered
position as producer and host of Nuclear Hotseat. "Yes, I Glow
in the Dark!" reveals the human side of what happens in the
aftermath of a major nuclear accident – the very thing nuclear
industry "experts" promised us could never happen and now
has occurred not once, but three times. Yes, I Glow in the Dark! is a
cautionary tale, a fascinating memoir and a practical handbook for
those who wish to take action on this crucial issue.”
