What is the reality in California?

You really have to wonder if these people just make things up as they go to suit the narrative-of-the-day.  Most of what we see is a lie.

Question: When is a drought not a drought?

This is what is being said currently:

Residents in high fire risk areas should be ready and set to evacuate if emergency officilas say so,” the weather service office said.

Tom Fisher with the ]weather servi cce said the NWS was not making a new category of warnings.

Extreme red flag is not a grade but was it was super important that we get the residents' attention”, he said.

“This is the fourth event that we've had, it's been a very long dry spell. And there is no rain in sight”

Just a few months ago they were announcing an end to the drought:

California is officially free of drought after more than seven years, drought monitors said Thursday.

The Golden State has experienced some form of drought for 376 consecutive weeks, the National Drought Mitigation Center at the University of Nebraska, tweeted. It’s the first time the state has been free of drought since Dec. 20, 2011

https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/california-drought/california-drought-officially-over-after-more-seven-years-n983461

And yet we know (by joining the dots and by anecdote, because the media won't tell you the truth) that official droughts may come and go but largely due to manufactured drought and the spraying of particulates into the atmosphere that everything is becoming dessicated.

The soil is bone-dry, very little is growing, ground-water is being depleted and the forests are dying.

I wonder how much update to this story there has been.

https://greyareanews.com/news/national/new-aerial-survey-identifies-100-million-dead-trees-california/

In short, I contend that most of what we read these days from official sources is a LIE.

In the meantime, this is what they are saying today:

'Analyisis: California is becoming

unlivable"

U.S. SPECIAL OPS FORCES

FOUND INCREDIBLE

EVIDENCE DURING AL-

BAGHDADI KILL-RAID

Things are falling apart rapidly. At times like this one gets contradictory reporting and considerable confusion. I think that I can safely disregard most of the mainstream narrative of Syria, Russiagate, Ukrainegate but it is very difficult to get to the essence of what is true.

There is little actual evidence of what is being talked about here, so it is not possible to say how much stands up to scrutiny in times of “the Fog of War”.

In this case Hal Turner's story is, at the very least replicated quite independently.

Listen to what Hal Turner has to say along with the audio which I have extracted from something that appeared on Twitter yesterday.

Finally, there is this audio which parallels much of what Turner is saying.

Here are some of the relevant stories as covered by the Hal Turner show.  Everything, of course, needs to double checked with other sources.

BREAKING NEWS: ISRAEL CLOSING ALL OF ITS EMBASSIES WORLDWIDE IMMEDIATELY

https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/breaking-news-israel-closing-all-of-its-embassies-worldwide-immediately

The state of Israel is CLOSING all of its foreign Embassies, worldwide, effective immediately. No consular services will be available and no persons will be permitted entry until further notice.

Ambassador Joel Lion, the Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine, says this is due to a Ministry of Finance decision, but history suggests something different: Something HUUUUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEE is about to take place.

It is almost unheard of that any country, even with financial authorizations lagging, closes its Embassies. It just isn't done. Yet Israel is doing so.

Is this part and parcel of the ALLEGED nuclear "false flag" said to be in the works against Seattle, WA and Los Angeles, CA for this Sunday, November 3? Unknown.

Does this have something to do with Diplomatic Cables uncovered in the lair of ISIS Leader Al-Baghdadi? Diplomatic cables between Baghdadi and the US State Department were seized by US Special Operations Forces during the raid that killed Baghdadi over the weekend. If Cables were found to the US State Department, were any others found to and from Israel?????

One off-the-wall claim are those rumors that Israel had a nuke stored in strategic embassy basements around the world as a blackmail option. Will those nukes be detonated? Unknown.

This is very unusual and very disturbing. Clearly something very big is up. Endeavoring to find out what it is.

UPDATE 11:03 PM EDT --

Just a reminder.

We have two Aircraft Carries operational, one in Asia (based out of Japan) and one in the Arabian Sea. NOT A SINGLE OTHER US CARRIER can put to sea at the moment. 11 carriers and only two are capable of deploying at the present time.

United States troops participating in the operation to capture or kill ISIS founder and Leader Abu-Bakr Al-Baghdadi, came across -- and seized -- incredible materials during the raid.

Included in the items seized are CABLES to and from Al-Baghdadi and . . . the U.S. State Department!

The Cables provide first-hand, INCRIMINATING evidence of the Obama regime providing material support to the ISIS terror group.

More importantly, the cables contain names of senders and recipients . . .

Attorney General Barr, US Attorney John Durham, and other law enforcement officials are going over the CABLES . . .

This is the SECOND attack by Turkey upon forces they should NOT be attacking, today! First they attacked and killed six soldiers from the Syrian Arab Army, now they've hit Russians.

The DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) is 1 of 16 US military intelligence agencies. According to a leaked document obtained by Judicial Watch, the DIA wrote on August 12, 2012 that:
“there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist Principality in eastern Syria (Hasaka and Der Zor), and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime …”
This was written before ISIS came on to the world stage. Clearly ISIS was no random uprising, but rather a carefully groomed and orchestrated controlled opposition group.
The “supporting powers to the opposition” referred to are Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the GCC nations such as Qatar, who are in turn being supported by the US-UK-Israeli axis in their struggle to overthrow Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. As outlined in this article Syrian Ground War About to Begin? WW3 Inches Closer, the US is backing the Sunni nations while Russia, China and Iran are backing the Shia nations, so there is the definite potential for this to erupt into World War 3. Below are screenshots of the actual DIA document:
US Senator John McCain visited the Free Syrian Army. In circle is the ISIS Leader Baghdadi
ISIS is a US-Israeli Creation: Indication 2: ISIS Leader Baghdadi a Mossad Agent
Although this indication is hard to confirm, there were reports apparently originating from Edward Snowden that the leader of ISIS (Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi) was actually an Israeli Mossad agent by the name of Simon Elliot or Elliot Shimon: [Editor’s note: this source and quotation are yet to be fully verified, including the source originating from Edward Snowden]
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, so-called  “Caliph,”  the head of ISIL (Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant) is, according to sources reputed to originate from Edward Snowden, an actor named Elliot Shimon, a Mossad trained operative.
Simon Elliot (Elliot Shimon) aka Al-Baghdadi was born of two Jewish parents and is a Mossad agent.
We offer below three translations that want to assert that the Caliph Al-Baghdadi is a full Mossad agent and that he was born Jewish father and mother:
The real name of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is “Simon Elliott.”
The so-called “Elliot” was recruited by the Israeli Mossad  and was trained in espionage and psychological warfare against Arab and Islamic societies.
This information was attributed to Edward Snowden and published by newspapers and other Web sites: the head of the “Islamic State” Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, has cooperated with the U.S. Secret Service, British and Israel to create an organization capable of attracting terrorist extremists from around the world.
Source: Radio ajyal.com
Another source corroborates this statement, the site Egy-press:
With photo support, a Iranian media discovers the true identity of the Emir Daash, a trained Zionist agent.
Iranian intelligence discovered the true and full identity of the Emir Daash, which is known under the name Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi; his real name is Elliot Shimon. Its role in Mossad secret agent in the Zionist espionage. His false name: Ibrahim ibn Awad ibn Ibrahim Al Al Badri Arradoui Hoseini.

Behind the social unrest in Iraq and Lebanon

Why Lebanon And Iraq Are

At The Brink Of Further

Strife

Image result for protest lebanon

Moon of Alabama,
29 October, 2019

Today the Prime Minister of Lebanon Saad Hariri resigned after -at times- violent protests. In Iraq the gadfly cleric Moqtada Sadr joined protesters after previous protests in Iraq also led to violence. In both countries at least some protesters demand the resignation of their governments. While the demonstrations in both countries are about local economic and political issues there are foreign actors involved who want to use them to achieve their own goals.

Elijah J. Magnier @ejmalrai - 12:37 UTC · Oct 29, 2019
#Lebanon and #Iraq protestors hitting the "Axis of the Resistance" stability in these two countries and pushing Prime Ministers in both countries to resign and lead the country towards instability.

#US and #SaudiArabia has lost #Syria but are still fighting in other theatres.

On October 6 we warned of these 'regime change' attempts : The U.S. Led Coup Attempt In Iraq May Further Weaken That Country

During the last five days there have been protest all over the south of Iraq where the majority of the people are Shia. The protest escalated within a few days into shootings with over a hundred killed. In several cities party and government offices were burned and various groups hustle to take a position in the "leaderless" movement.

There are legitimate reasons for protests. The majority of the people in Iraq are younger than 20. The people have little chance of finding a job. The state is weak and many of its actors are corrupt. Services the state is supposed to provide don't get delivered. Electricity and water supply is often sparse.

But those are not the reasons why the protests immediately escalated into violence.
...

The protests are part of the conflict between the U.S., its Saudi proxies, and Iran.

The immediate aim is to bring down the government under Prime Minister Adel Abdel Mahdi who strove to stay neutral in the conflict between the U.S./Israel/Saudi Arabia and Iran.
...
New U.S. sanctions against Lebanese banks who allegedly support Hizbullah are likewise part of U.S./Israeli/Saudi effort to squeeze Iran and its proxies ...

An imminent breakdown of the very weak economy of Lebanon, partially caused by U.S. sanctions against Lebanese banks and the end of traditional Saudi subsidies to Lebanon, also led to protests and today to the resignation of Prime Minister Saad Hariri. He will now lead a caretaker government which will have too little power to change anything.

Both, Iraq and Lebanon, have ethnic-sectarian systems that are finely balanced. The warlords or clan leaders of the various groups use the state for their own enrichment. Providing services for the whole country mean nothing to them. All they want is more money that allows them to run a system of patronage and clientilism for their immediate followers which keep them in their positions.

In Iraq and Lebanon the positions in the parliament and government are decided (more or less) by group quotas that are difficult to change. Both countries would be better off under universal constitutions that would do away with any quotas and specific positions for special groups.

But the Christian groups in Lebanon would lose out as the Christian share of the population has decreased over time. In Iraq the currently strong Kurdish and Sunni positions would lose power to the Shia majority. These groups would rather fight than give up on their privileges.

The current political systems make any change extremely difficult. The demonstrators are asking for the corrupt politicians to leave. But even if the governments resign and call for new elections an adherence to the election laws and constitutions would only recreate a similar situation.

To call for resignations is thereby not the way to achieve change.

The best strategy for the legitimate protesters is to press the current governments for reform. The governments in Iraq and in Lebanon have both already agreed to make certain changes. The protesters should accept those and pull back. If the politicians do not stick to those commitments the protesters can always go back into the streets and demand more.

Unfortunately there are external actors with lots of money who want to prevent that. They want to throw both countries into utter chaos or even civil wars because they hope that it will weaken those factions that have good relations with Iran.

In Lebanon there was some violence by followers of the Shia Amal movement against a protesters tent camp. 'Western' media falsely attributed the violence to Hizbullah. In Iraq the guards of a government building in Karbala shot at protesters who tried to breach its gate. Some 'western' media falsely alleged that those shooters were Iranians.

But external actors have made such bids before only to fail to achieve the wanted results. The outcome of any violent strife now will - in the end - likely be a different one than they dream of. In both countries it is likely that, after a bloody and chaotic period, the groups that will come out on the top will be the very once that the Saudis, the U.S., and Israel want to push down.

There would also be a lot of collateral damage and both countries would be further weakened. That is why the Iran aligned groups are currently trying to avoid to react to the obvious provocations against them. But with blood flowing in the streets it will be difficult to adhere to that position for much longer.

Another nail in the coffin of the petrodollar

Turkey Throws Another Wrench Into the USD's Works and Joins Russian Swift

Bitcoin.com,
11 October, 2019

The dominance of the U.S. dollar as the global reserve currency is being robustly challenged on all fronts. Other geopolitical powers and smaller but important players are unwilling to accept the political influence Washington exerts through its fiat money. And in times of trade wars, sanctions, and even tensions between allies, the push to dethrone the Greenback is once again gaining traction. Turkey is now joining Russia’s version of Swift to trade with Moscow directly in rubles and liras.

Trump vs Turkey

Moscow and Ankara have long since put the incident with the Russian fighter jet Turkey downed over Syria four years ago behind them. And since the 2016 coup attempt against Turkish President Recep Erdogan, the two Black Sea neighbors have been moving closer and closer together. In a controversial move from a North Atlantic perspective, Turkey recently bought Russian missiles made to shoot down Western airplanes and has been offered Russia’s Su-35 fighter jets after the U.S. kicked its NATO ally out of the F-35 program.

Turkey Throws Another Wrench Into the USD's Works and Joins Russian Swift

But relations between the United States and Turkey soured long before the Russian arms deal. President Obama’s administration blocked Turkish attempts to acquire elements of the U.S.-made Patriot missile system. And president Trump recently tweeted that he “will totally destroy and obliterate the Economy of Turkey” if Ankara “does anything that I, in my great and unmatched wisdom, consider to be off limits.” His message was issued on the backdrop of pressure from his own Republican Party and congressional leaders to impose sanctions on Turkey over the purchase of Russian military equipment, as the law now requires.

These are not the only sparks between the two historically strategic allies. Other points of tension include America’s backing of Kurdish fighters in Syria whom Turkey considers a threat to its own security. Ankara just launched a military offensive against some of them. Add to that suspicions of connections between U.S. military personnel at the Incirlik Air Base and the organizers of the failed coup d’état against the Turkish government. Erdogan’s numerous and friendly handshakes with Russian President Vladimir Putin didn’t help either.

Turkey to Settle Bills With Russia in Rubles and Liras

The rapprochement between Turkey and Russia has catalyzed trade between the two countries over the past few years, with Turkish contractors building infrastructure for the Sochi Winter Olympics and Russia’s giant Gazprom completing Turk Stream, a natural gas pipeline that runs through the Black Sea. Not to mention Turkey’s nuclear power projects to be realized with Russian technology and the six million Russian tourists visiting the country last year.

All this intensified economic interaction will be increasingly facilitated by transactions in the two nations’ fiat currencies. According to an announcement by the Russian finance ministry, issued October 4, Minister Anton Siluanov signed an agreement with the Turkish side to start using the ruble and the lira in cross-border payments and settlements, Reuters reported this past Tuesday.

Turkey Throws Another Wrench Into the USD's Works and Joins Russian Swift

As part of the agreement, Turkish businesses and banks will now connect to the Russian version of Swift and introduce Russian Mir cards in Turkey, an alternative to Visa and Mastercard. Moscow developed its System for Transfer of Financial Messages (SPFS) in response to proposals in the West to exclude the country from Swift following the annexation of Crimea back in 2014.

“We see attempts to use the dollar as a political weapon. I regard this as another big mistake,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the 2019 Russian Energy Week forum last week. He expressed his opinion that by implementing restrictions on the use of their currency, the Americans have “started sawing the branch on which they sit.” Putin also pointed out that “the dollar shrinks as a reserve currency in many countries around the world, including U.S. allies” and added that the same applies to dollar settlements in international trade. Putin stressed that the restrictions on Iran, the Russian Federation, and other sanctioned nations undermine the confidence in the U.S. currency.

As a result, not only Russia and Turkey have been looking for settlement solutions outside systems based on the dollar. Disagreeing with the Trump administration’s decision to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal and reintroduce sanctions against the Islamic Republic, the European Union announced its own Swift alternative in January. Instex, or Instrument in Support of Trade Exchanges, was developed by France, Germany, and the United Kingdom to facilitate non-dollar trade with Iran. And in March, a central bank official in Moscow revealed several Russian banks had joined the Cross-Border Interbank Payment System (CIPS), China’s version of Swift.

Turkey Throws Another Wrench Into the USD's Works and Joins Russian Swift

Is There a Better Swift Than Bitcoin?
Thinking about Swift and its alternatives as well as other fiat currencies that could challenge the dollar’s dominance as a reserve currency, all of them part of geopolitical weaponry, some questions arise. For example, will Britain remain part of Instex after Brexit? Will Russia invite Ukraine to the SPFS system? What stops China from banning Taiwan from the CIPS? Will the U.S. ever make the Greenback a true world currency?

There was an Eastern Bloc joke during the Cold War about a propaganda poster at a Russian hospital. “Soviet Patients Are the Healthiest Patients!” the slogan read… But there is no such thing as a healthy patient, is there? That’s why they’re all in hospital.

By coincidence or not for the people in Turkey, Russia, and China, none of their governments is particularly friendly towards Bitcoin, yet are among the most eager adopters of decentralized digital currencies. For example, according to the 2019 edition of the Global Consumer Survey conducted by market data provider Statista, 20% of Turks own cryptocurrency. China is eighth among 18 polled countries with 11% of Chinese citizens holding crypto, while 9% of the surveyed Russians also said they used or owned digital coins.

Until a cryptocurrency becomes the world’s reserve currency and its blockchain is used for international financial settlements, a lot of new Swifts may come into existence and many fiat currencies may try to challenge the dominance of the United States dollar. But that’s fine: bitcoin thrives in the face of adversary.

What are your expectations about the future of the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency? Do you think a cryptocurrency can play that role? Let us know in the comments section below.

To add a bit to my tirade against MMT (and other monetary nonsense) on Monday, some people will claim that because we can also buy raw material resources (such as ores or roundwood), finished goods, and services with money, my claim that money just stands for energy is mistaken. Trump confirms ISIS leader Baghdadi is dead after US raid in Syria — ‘He died like a coward’
