Israeli
air force strike Syria targets after attack on IDF patrol
Israel’s
air force mounted a strike against Syrian targets on Wednesday
morning in response to an attack against an IDF vehicle the day prior
in the occupied Golan Heights border territory.
On Tuesday a roadside
bomb was detonated, wounding four Israeli soldiers who had left their
jeep to investigate suspicious movement adjacent to the Golan
separation fence, reports Reuters.
According to an official IDF
statement Wednesday’s targets included a Syrian army training
facility, military headquarters and artillery batteries.
