People are very concerned about it. I think that anytime that you
have an issue like this coming out of the cold war and everything;
people have brought a lot of concerns about nuclear waste along with
that. Particularly here in Berkeley [California] people are all very
smart, educated. People really want to know exactly what is going on.

I’ve seen some Canadian data that the front edge of that plume is
starting to show up in trace quantities — we’re talking about
something that is 10,000 times lower than our drinking water
standards [...] but it’s showing, confirming what the models
predict.
