quakes of over M5.0 occurred around Kanto region within 3 days

earthquakes of over M5.0 have hit around Kanto region since
12/21/2013, according to Japan Meteorological Agency.
The
first one was M5.3 to hit Southern part of Ibaraki at 01:10 JST
21 Dec 2013. The second one was M5.4 to hit offshore Chiba at 10:34
JST 21 Dec 2013.
On
12/23/2013, M5.7 and M5.8 occurred offshore Kanto region.
A
new volcanic island was found in 1,000km south of Tokyo, and it’s
still actively growing. (cf, New volcanic island still actively

The
volcanic activity underground of Kanto area may possibly be becoming
intense.
