Hail Batters Town In Australia's Sunshine Coast

Tennis
ball-sized hail
was part of a
severe thunderstorm that hit eastern Australia
on Saturday.
The
video above, filmed
in Maroochydore on Australia's Sunshine Coast,
shows the "apocalyptic-sized" ice balls raining down into
the South Maroochy River from a 12-story vantage point. (Watch the
footage in the clip above.)
The
hail, which in some places was larger
than pool balls,
may have caused
millions of dollars in damages,
authorities say. Just take a look at the image below!
