Francis and Weather Underground's Jeff Masters -- to explore the
'Why?' of two years of mirror images of weather across North America
My understanding is that there is a Jet Stream in the Southern Hemisphere, but because there is much less land than sea it does not play such an important role in pushing weather round. Anyone have more info on this?
