A dire warming of imminent attack on Syria

I don’t really think that it is possible to look into the crystal ball and say there is going to be an attack tonight;it is simply not possible to say anything other than, given the atmosphere of chaos in Washington that things have unravelled to an extent that something dire is inevitable at some stage.

You simply cannot have this atmosphere of mutual distrust and war preperation and expect that nothing will happen, whether by design or by accident.

People keep on saying this is the most dangerous moment since the Cuban missile crisis. The big difference is back then you had rational actors on both sides and there was a wilingness to compromise.

The big difference is that we do not have a rational Commander-in-Chief. In fact here seem to not be anyone who has any sense – or anyone in charge in Washington.

If you have any doubt watch these comments from a former Israeli security chief on Russian TV.

Given the black-out of news across western media I do not think this reporting from Hal Turner is fear-mongering. We need to take our information from where we can.

At a meeting of the United Nations Security Council today in New York, Russia directly and publicly blamed British Secret Services for "staging" a false Chemical attack in east Ghouta, Syria, for the express purpose of providing an excuse to launch a military attack.  Russia again warned that if Syria is attacked, Russia will defend it, shooting down missiles, planes, and counter-attacking ships *** and the bases from which they launch attacks ****.

A Joint Statement issued by Hezbollah and Iran declared "Israel is now in direct conflict with Iran" and news has broken that Russia and Iran are selecting targets inside Israel for retaliation if the US attacks Syria.   

Late last week Russia deployed 77,000 troops to within 50km of the Ukraine Border, along with about 1,000 tanks, 2,300 armored personnel carriers, and hundreds of pieces of self-propelled artillery.  The message is simple: If the US/UK/France attack Russia's ally, Syria, then Russia can attack US allies in Europe.

While all this was going on, a vast military build-up is taking place by the US, UK, France and other nations, which are massing "the largest air and naval armada since the Iraq War."

The General Secretary of the United Nations stated bluntly "The entire world is threatened" by the developments taking place.  China's Ambassador to the UN said "The world is at a crossroads of war and peace."  But the French Ambassador put it plainly when he told the Security Council "We have reached the point of no return. France will act. (i.e. attack Syria.)

The Continental United States may be attacked

The U.S. is so concerned about Russia's potential reaction to any US attack, that for days, it has deployed numerous Boeing P-8 "Poseidon" Submarine-Hunter aircraft along the eastern seaboard, the Gulf Coast and the US West Coast, looking for submerged attack submarines!

In addition, tactical command aircraft known as "CobraBall" followed by "RiverJoint" and "Constant Phoenix" are up.

• CobraBall: The RC-135S Cobra Ball is a rapidly deployable aircraft, which flies Joint Chiefs of Staff-directed missions of national priority to collect optical and electronic data on ballistic targets.
• RivetJoint: The RC-135V/W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft supports theater and national level consumers with near real time on-scene intelligence collection, analysis and dissemination capabilities. 
• Constant Phoenix: Its mission is to collect samples from the atmosphere for the purpose of detecting and identifying nuclear explosions.

The Chief of NATO told media in Europe today "the Kremlin is increasingly prepared to use nuclear weapons."

In Britain, UK OPPOSITION LEADERS were called to Downing Street to receive an "urgent private security briefing by the Prime Minister."

Near Syria, multiple AIRSPACE CLOSURE NOTICES were being issued, with commercial air carriers urged to reroute or cancel flights where possible.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon confirmed to media today that the USS Winston Churchill had entered the Mediterranean Sea.  The Churchill is a SEA COMBAT vessel designed to fight other ships as well as conduct missile strikes and submarine warfare.  It's the kind of ship sent when there are naval battles expected!

The ship’s mission is to provide a forward naval presence and ensure the world’s oceans remain free and accessible. In order to fulfill her mission, USS WINSTON S. CHURCHILL is able to conduct prompt and sustained combat operations at sea. The ship is equipped to operate in a high-density, multi-threat environment either independently or as a vital member of a carrier strike group. She is the 31st Arleigh Burke Class destroyer to be built and is capable of fighting air, surface, and subsurface battles simultaneously. The Aegis-equipped destroyer has the AN/SPY-1D phased array radar, the most powerful air search radar in the U.S. Navy’s inventory. Besides the 5” gun, the ship is equipped with a vertical launch system (VLS), close in weapons system (CIWS), torpedo launchers, 50-caliber machine guns, and two SH-60 LAMPS MK III helicopters. Her four gas turbine engines allow her to reach speeds in excess of 30 knots

The situation has become so dangerous, that former US President Jimmy Carter said today of President Trump:

"I hope he realizes very profoundly as I did, and as other presidents have done," Carter continued, "that any nuclear exchange could involve catastrophe for all human beings."

Western military assets surrounding Syria include Raptor, Strike Eagle & Tornado aircraft, as well as destroyers and the submarine USS John Warner.

In that regard, Russia made known this afternoon that “Russian’s strategic aircraft will use Iran’s military airbases as Moscow has reached an agreement with Tehran in this regard.” 

In addition, military surveillance shows that even more Russian S-400 Surface-to-Air-Missile (SAM) systems have arrived to Syria in recent days.  The S-400 is widely regarded as the finest SAM system on earth; exceptionally lethal to all types of aircraft and at great distances.

Moreover, Russian Strategic Bombers have been equipped with "ship-killer" cruise missiles KH-32 which can be fired from 3,000km away.  These missiles fly at 40km (120,000 feet) out of range of all US defenses, and travel at up to 5,000 KPH.  They can carry conventional or nuclear warheads, and can kill an aircraft carrier.

In Tehran, Iran, the Iranian government issued a Joint Statement with Hezbollah (of Lebanon) saying ISRAEL IS NOW IN DIRECT CONFLICT WITH IRAN and went on to say ISRAEL'S ATTACK ON THE T-4 BASE TO KILL IRANIAN TROOPS IN SYRIA WAS A HISTORIC MISTAKE.

In Israel, Mayor Yonah Yahav of Haifa, Israel’s third largest city, decided not to wait for an official alert, but to issue orders to the town’s residents to prepare for any fallout from a US military operation in Syria. The municipal authorities were instructed to open up public Bomb shelters and place emergency services on the ready. Yahav advised families to prepare shelters and fortified rooms for occupation and lay in supplies of essential items for the duration.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were at angry cross-purposes in their phone conversation on Wednesday, April 11.  Putin warned Netanyahu to discontinue Israeli strikes in Syria because they may rock the Assad regime [backed by Moscow] and insisted on Israel respecting Syrian sovereignty and security. By this warning, Russia clamped down on the freedom the Israeli air force had hitherto enjoyed in Syrian air space for striking hostile elements, primarily Iran and Hezbollah.

Netanyahu shot back, that Israel cannot possibly desist from action over Syria, since this would leave Iran at liberty to establish a permanent, hostile military presence in that country. And so, said the prime minister, Israel would have to persevere in its efforts to stop this happening. The conversation between Putin and Netanyahu ended in total discord.

Back at the United Nations, the Syrian Ambassador made explicitly clear: SYRIA WILL DEFEND ITSELF AND RESPOND TO AN ATTACK. I AM NOT TALKING A THREAT BUT A PROMISE - the ambassador said. 

Despite the horrific danger of the actual outbreak of World war 3, between the US and Russia, and the probable attacks upon Israel by Iran and Russia, the mass-media in the US and Europe has been virtually SILENT.  Average Americans have NO CLUE AT ALL how close we are to being attacked, here in the Continental United States, and are thus not making any preparations to survive if and when this "war" begins . . . when the US, UK and France attack.
