created by Sam Carana with NASA Land-Ocean data adjusted to reflect a
preindustrial baseline (0.59°C), to reflect air temperatures instead
of sea surface temperatures (0.1°C) and to better reflect Arctic
temperatures (0.1°C), and with 3rd-order polynomial trend
added.
The temperature rise up until now may well be dwarfed by what's yet to come and the outlook may well be even worse than what most fear will eventuate.
