EXCEPTIONALISM | A Film by Anissa Naouai
What
is American exceptionalism? Where does the US’s world monopoly on
democracy come from? How does the US give itself license to do as it
pleases and demand the rest of the globe follow? A film by Anissa
Naouai explores this outdated, obnoxious and overrated concept
For IN the NOW with Anissa Naouai, The Resident talks to folks in Union Square, New York City, about their feelings on America's constant, ever-growing, ever-expanding wars. Most Americans she spoke with are incredibly sick of their government's foreign policy and are so exhausted from all the new wars, they can't even keep their "enemies" straight anymore. And, most interviewees were pretty sharp about why their country keeps warring as well.
Weary Americans can’t keep track of their wars
