Watch out, America! is so enormous, we could only capture her with a super wide-angle lens from the @Space_Station, 400 km directly above the eye. Get prepared on the East Coast, this is a no-kidding nightmare coming for you.

83 FOOT WAVES

The National Hurricane Center says they have measured waves of 83 FEET in the northeast quadrant of Hurricane Florence.

Wave heights to 83 ft were measured early this morning under the NE quadrant of Hurricane Florence. These enormous waves are produced by being trapped along with very strong winds moving in the same direction the storm's motion. http://hurricanes.gov/marine

If you or anyone you know is anywhere within TEN miles of the coast where this storm is heading, PLEASE get them to evacuate. No one and nothing can survive being hit by waves of this size or the 140 mile per hour winds driving them.
