RUSSIANS BOMB AL-TANF
PERIMETER OF U.S. BASE; AMERICAN TROOPS "TRAPPED"
15
Septeber, 2018
This
is BREAKING NEWS:
The
Russian Air Force has begun bombing "militants" in Al-Tanf,
Syria. The bombings are taking place around the perimeter of
the US Military facility in Al-Tanf. So far, the base itself
has not been targeted, but anything moving OUTSIDE the base is being
eradicated.
This
is a massive escalation.
When
Russia first agreed to send military forces into Syria, so as to
assist the lawful government in ridding the country of (US-backed)
militants and "Rebels" the US made clear that we have a
facility in Al-Tanf. America told Russia we were using
that base to fight ISIS and other Terrorists, and that our base had
to be left alone. Russia agreed.
Later,
it became painfully clear that the US had lied. The base was
not for "fighting ISIS and Terrorists" it was __actually_ a
training and supply depot for the very Rebels fighting to overthrow
the Syrian government!
The
base had been left alone by Russia because there was plenty more to
be done elsewhere in Syria.
Today,
there are only two places inside Syria with Terrorists/Rebels:
Idlib, and Al-Tanf.
For
weeks, this web site and others have been tracking the build-up of
forces around Idlib, and reporting that a massive offensive was going
to be launched there against the remaining Terrorists from ISIS,
Al-Qaida, Al-Nusra and its offspring, HTS.
But
Russian and Syrian plans for that offensive have met worldwide
resistance because there is a civilian population of about 2.3
Million in Idlib. The world feared that an all-out assault
against the Terrorists and Rebels there, would cause a humanitarian
crisis of unimaginable proportion, so the offensive was delayed,
sporadically undertaken, then delayed again.
TODAY,
without warning, Russia began attacking Rebels in Al-Tanf outside the
direct perimeter of the US base there. Dozens are already dead
and many more are being attacked right now.
US
Forces in Al-Tanf are literally trapped.
As
long as they remain in their base, Russia says they will be safe.
But anything outside the base is now under attack.
It
is not yet clear what, if anything, the US intends to do about this
ongoing offensive. If the US goes after Russian planes --
adn they might -- it would mean direct military conflict between the
US and Russia, immediately.
This
is a completely unexpected, MAJOR escalation of the troubles inside
Syria.
I
am getting reports now about the ongoing attacks and will update this
story below . . . .
The
U.S. and its "Coalition Partners" wondered what was "up"
when, 48 hours ago, 60 Russian Fighter planes arrived in Syria.
Now, apparently, they know.
Russia
sent 60 Sukhoi S-35 and MiG-35 planes to Syria carrying very
dangerous destructive missiles at its military base in Hmeimim. At
the same time, Iran
announced that if requested, it would attack the US Army in the
province of Hasaka along with the Syrian army and Hezbollah.
Russia
has also manned the Syrian territory with the S-400 as well as the
S-300 air defense systems. Analysts conclude that these moves suggest
that the Battle of Idlib will be held.
A
complex air defense system was developed in Hmeimim. The farthest
periphery of Syria is protected by S-400. The second level consists
of S-300 naval systems installed in the Marshal Oustinov and Variag
warships, which are replaced alternately in the patrol in the eastern
Mediterranean and by the Buk type M2E.
On
a third line are Syrian S-125 Petchora-2M anti-aircraft systems and
finally a fourth line of Pantsir-S1 Russian missile defense weapons
that protect the airport and S-400 positions. In addition, at any
time, the Su-30SM and Su-35 crews are ready to join the defense
against an air raid.
US
President Donald Trump threatened to make strong blows to Syria but
also threatens Russian and Iranian installations. Russia said Trump
is not aware of the rules of war and that a war at the beginning is
easy, but in the end no one knows what it can do.
