Jason
Box arns about the albedo changes in Greenland

Albedo
changes on Greenland are also a big worry.
I
got this alarming photo from Jason Box, who adds that it's the:
"southern tip of Greenland... darkness is outcropping dust and
probably more so the effect of the dust acting as fertilizer for ice
algae and its dark byproducts. Black carbon from fire is there but
not as important as the biological factors. What still may be scary
is the high sensitivity of the southern Greenland ice sheet margin to
warming air temperature and higher humidity. It's melting fast,
mostly due to warming air temperature and higher humidity, more
precipitation and more of it falling as rain than snow."
