Temperature records in the last 100 years


Ten coldest years on record from coldest to least cold: Coldest, 1909, then 1913, 1910, 1908, 1907, 1917, 1904, 1911, 1893, and 10th coldest, 1912.


Eleven hottest years on record starting with the hottest, 2015, 2014, 2010, 2013, 2005, 1998, 2009 (both tied for sixth) 2012, 2003, 2006. 2007 (in a three way tie for ninth.)

    Someone doesn't know their arithmetic. Of all the years listed as being the coldest in the last hundred years, only 1917 is actually within the last hundred years; all the other dates were more than 100 years ago, ergo, NOT within the last hundred years.

    I wonder what your intention in splitting hairs. Is it to deny a definite pattern of colder weather in the early 20th century. Most of my life was spent in the 20th century, not the 21st.
