What is going on at Svalbard?


A methane event at Svarlbard?



The following was sent to me by David Allcock – with many thanks

“I think a methane event is taking place off the coast of Greenland on the edge of the shelf. Nothing on cams yet though !!!!”

This shows the topography....


And the warm water that has been around for a while...

 The temperature of the water is up to 14.7 degrees Celsius.

    That is a regular hot spot. Something down there has been hot for years.
