Man arrested as police respond to report of 'suspicious items' at property in Christchurch's Phillipstown

Police have arrested a man at an address in Phillipstown, Christchurch following a report of suspicious items at a property on Newcastle Street.
Police say a 33- year-old man has been arrested and is currently speaking to them over the incident.
Houses on Newcastle, Glasgow and Harrow streets are being evacuated as a precaution.
The NZDF EOD team, Fire and Emergency New Zealand and St Johns are also in attendance.
A no fly zone is in place over the area.
