From Vladimir Suchan -
Marat
Musin who was on the ground when the Russian SU-24 was shot down over
Syria and witnessed it together with the ensuing rescue operation the
ground, reports on this video that the Russian SU-24 was first hit by
an air-to-air missile after which the jet tried to gain altitude (to
get as far as possible away from the rebels-controlled territory),
climbing to some 2 km. At that moment, ground-to-air missiles were
fired against the plane from the Turkish border, forcing the pilots
to eject.
According
to Musin, the shooting down of the plane was meant to lure in recuse
helicopters with some 12 soldiers on the board of each and then kill
or capture those and thus increase the number of the Russian
"sacrificial victims" for the greatest propagandist impact.
Thanks to the effectiveness of the Syrian special forces, this did
not work out.
In
the video, Murat Musin also argues with and against this
