Germany's
drought
In
addition to 2018 being the warmest year on record in Germany, it is
also exceptionally dry. Here is the map of current soil moisture
index in the uppermost 1.8 m of soil across Germany: most of the
country is in extreme to exceptional drought! Map: Helmholtz Centre
