the Turkey-EU summit on refugees, and the broader politics of the
issue.
Draitser
explains how Turkey has cynically manipulated the refugee issue to
its advantage in order to further its hegemonic agenda for the
region.
He
discusses the rise of ultra-nationalist political formations
throughout Europe whose racism and xenophobia have been couched in
populist talking points about "culture" and "democracy."
