I have been trying to persuade Radio NZ to interview Peter Wadhams for as long as I can remember.

The ice cover at the top of the world is thinning and disappearing at an alarming rate. It's something that can even be seen from space. Peter Wadhams, Emeritus Professor of Ocean Physics at the Dept of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics in the University of Cambridge, has seen first hand the changes in the Arctic ice. He's been measuring it for nearly 50 years and warns the consequences will be catastrophic if the ice continues to disappear in the Arctic and Antarctic

    Well that was a waste of 20 minutes
    RNZ might have well interviewed Bill English, Donald Trump, or any bloody lying politician
    Peter was massively understating the facts, and ignoring reality, He didn't say anything about the FACT we are above @ 410 ppm CO2 and maybe 300 PPM CO2e with the current level of CH4, in his ice core statements, he didn't mention how above 400 ppm CO2 = extinction of most life as we know it ................ so many lost opportunities to tell the truth, what an utter waste of time, invent something to remove CO2 ... bullshit bullshit bullshit and more bullshit. The only reason Peter is getting interviews is because he is down playing the situation .... just like every politician. I'm amazed you think that was worth the effort to report on, Peter is just another person who knows better but is afraid to speak up. Not sure I want to waste more time listening to the extinction radio interview ? ......... And you should know better also Robin
