Russia bans genetically-engineered food

I have seen a lot about this on Facebook in recent times, but here it is from the horse’s mouth.

While GMO is already banned in a number of countries, the US and Canada don't even have labeling requirements for GMO foods. Russia is moving toward banning all GMO products from the country, with any producer /importer that breaks the law, facing up to 20 years in prison.
