The evolution of a sunny day
in Lower Hutt
This is how the sky appeared with the naked eye at 9 am
And this is how it really looked - through tinted glass.
You can see the high cirrus clouds blotting out the sun.
And by mid-afternoon it looked like this.
In the old days we would watch the cloud coming over the horizon.
Now it just metamorphoses.
