Aerosol trail caught in Lower Hutt

Geoengineered skies in Lower Hutt at sunset

I was just finishing up at home at the end of the day when Pam rushed in excited, saying "you have to come and look at the sky!"

We got out with a camera very close to dark but caught the following.

In this light it is a bit hard to see the extraordinary nature of these clouds.



I have seen skies like this only once before (a couple of months ago)

More extraordinary skies towards the west.



The one thing that has eluded me in previous months has been caught at last. The aerosol trail (aka. "chemtrail") is clearly visible here.

I can almost guarantee that tomorrow will be overcast.
