Russian S-300s not active during attack in Syria

Tehran, Jan 24, IRNA – Head of Majlis (parliament) national security and foreign policy commission Heshmatollah Falahat-Pisheh said on Thursday afternoon that Russian air defense system of 'S-300', which are deployed in Syria, were inactive during the Zionist attack on Syria.
In the past days, the Zionist regime following attacks against Syrian infrastructures claimed that had damaged Iranian advisory forces in Syria.
Following his return from Ankara, Falahat-Pisheh told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) that there is a serious criticism concerning Russia that during the Zionist regime's attacks its air defense 'S-300' system was inactive.
He added that if Russian S-300 system could operate correctly, the Zionist regime could not attack Syria easily.
The senior lawmaker noted that it seems that there is a kind of coordination between the Zionist regime's attacks and Russian air defense deployed in Syria.
Falahat-Pisheh added that in a few hours after the Zionist regime's attack, 'I reached to the area and I noticed that the statistics declared by the Zionist regime were not correct and they were bluffed.'
He said that the aim of military actions of the Zionist reime in Syria is to create disruption in stability creation process in the country and added that they want to force Iran for a series of reactions to form a new challenge in Syria.
