Netanyahu Says He Will Hold Snap Elections if Israel's New Public Broadcaster Not Killed Within Days

Shock Shut Down: Israeli public broadcasting corp closes live on air



 Israel’s public broadcasting corporation was unceremoniously shut down live on air. Employees of the IBA TV station were previously told that the changeover would not take place until May 15 which is why the news came as such a shock
With coalition in crisis over prime minister's attempt to shut down new public broadcaster, Netanyahu says he will decide on election by middle of the week.



Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he will hold snap elections if no deal is reached to shut down Israel's new public broadcaster before its official launch.
