European Union Foreign Ministers have met in Brussels to make sure that the latest oil sanctions against Iran will be imposed in July. However, as the EU and the US go forward with trying to punish Iran, they are also shooting themselves in the foot. Oil prices continue to rise as Iran has cut off sending supplies to some European countries after they agreed to implement the sanctions.
