Focus on Russia

This criticism of the Russian kleptocracy is from a Marxist point-of-view and seems to me to be an accurate reflection of reality in post-Soviet Russia.

Any comments, especially from Russian readers?
Russia's "Jurassic Capitalism": A Caricature of the West?
Aleksandr Buzgalin: A strata of bureaucrats and oligarchs rule a caricature of Western capitalism, amassing fabulous wealth

"REBELLION" The Litvinenko Case
This film about the LItvinenko case is made by one of his friends,Andrei Nekrasov.

As well as being an expose of the kleptocratic state within Russia it has some universal themes, one of which is the problem of indifference of the population allowing the development and perpetuation of fascism and repression
