Airlines face bankruptcy if fuel price reaches USD 150: IATA

Geneva. Airlines face bankruptcy if fuel prices were to soar to USD 150 a barrel from about USD 120 at the moment, IATA chief Tony Tyler warned on Tuesday, pointing out that Europe risks suffering the biggest losses, AFP reports.

"We cannot rule out the possibility of some bankruptcy, all regions will lose in this case, the most losses will be in Europe, but everywhere, there will be significant effects," said Tyler.
