War Hawks Join Gen Allen, Resist Afghan Drawdown
Suddenly the discussion is about ending the war in Afghanistan and getting out. The White House even leaked to the press that an accelerated drawdown is up for discussion. But there are those stubborn few that don't want things to change. General John Allen said there should be no American troop drawdowns in 2013, leaving the 68 thousand that will be left after withdrawals this year.
