“Make

Do
you want to know what you mean as a New Zealander? Is the NZ
government and John Key involved in this? I would not be surprised
in the least
"How
would you like people in NZ to give you around half their weekly
wages ... ?
Now if you happen to own an apartment in Auckland NZ, the high rent returns, other peoples money, around half a weeks pay for most people could be paid to you as rent every week”

I have heard the advert myself but it was not in a format that could be shared
Singapore
Radio offers foreigners half of your weekly wage

We are currently digging to try to find out who paid for this advert, but it is certainly not doing this Country any favors when we are marketed as sitting ducks to investors overseas. The original advert was captured and transcribed by a source of mine who bought this to my attention today.
I include the full transcription here.

Now
many people invest in Auckland because of the high demand for rents.
There's no land tax, no stamp duty and within NZ generally no Capital
Gains tax either ... it's an investors dream and very
affordable!
New Apartments in Central Auckland can be purchased
for as little as 390K - that's right 390K! And with as little as
$2000 initial deposit you can secure one today for yourself as an
investment
If the idea of having people in NZ going to work for
you, giving you hundred of dollars a week, paying for your apartment
appeals to you - and I'm sure it does - then 62380881 to find out how
it's done.
That number again 62380881 - CALL NOW!"

The advertisement appears to come from a Singapore firm, All Property Solutions Singapore Pet Ltd
I am sure that we can expect more to come from this - listen out for Radio Live and Duncan Garner.
UPDATE: 23:20
A couple of hours later Garner came out with this
Tmrw on @RadioLIVENZ Drive - listen to what I have that clearly shows we are a tax free property haven for foreign investors. From 3pm....
So the ideology of our right wing Government stops it from doing the"right" thing to protect the very people it is meant to be serving !
ReplyDeleteDisgraceful !
In a week Key said the 'market' will take care of the housing situation in Auckland he omitted to mention it was the Asian market he was talking about.
ReplyDeleteFFS.
