Chevron fined $27m for Brazil oil spill


US oil giant Chevron has been fined $27m by the Brazilian government for causing an oil spill off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, and it is warning of more penalties to come

There might be a warning here for New Zealand. whose government wants to drill for oil off its coast.

Petrobas of Brazil is the company that has been prospecting off our East Coast
