Arctic Sea-Ice on Life-Support

give detailed diagnostics on Arctic sea-ice extent, area, thickness,
dynamics, status, and fragility. The miserable prognosis is near
certainty as we head to complete end-of-summer melt-out over the
Arctic Ocean Basin.
As the ice goes, the global atmospheric circulation (jet streams, Hadley, Ferrel, Polar, Rossby) waves, and ocean circulation continues to reconfigure. Soon, Greenland will be the last Arctic bastion of ice and cold.
