Poroshenko
issued an executive decree that gives dictatorial, emergency powers
to the National Guard, which was used to transform the fascist Right
Sector and other Maidan self-defense paramilitaries into Ukrainian
SA/SS troops. The National Guard has thus obtained from the new Kiev
"president" the right to enter any private house or
premises and conduct searches there based merely on their own
suspicion and without any warrant. The suspicion does not even need
to be reasonable or otherwise founded.
Poroshenko's decree is but an
additional sanctioning what the National Guard was doing in Krasny
Liman and elsewhere where it not only entered private apartments at
will, but was also shooting people at will or on a mere suspicion
that they might have sympathized with antifascist
resistance.
Poroshenko thus effectively annulled what, in US practice, would be the 3rd and 4th amendments of the Bill of Rights:
Amendment III
Poroshenko thus effectively annulled what, in US practice, would be the 3rd and 4th amendments of the Bill of Rights:
Amendment III
No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
Amendment IV
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
What this means is that the Kiev junta is now an official dictatorship, even according to its own "laws.

Kiev expands the powers of
the National Guard
Киев расширяет полномочия нацгвардии

Today a document, which adds authority to the representatives of
the so-called national guard, and was signed by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, officially took effect
Now, national security guards have the opportunity to enter any premises
and to conduct searches, if it seemed to them suspicious.
So
Kiev is going to "improve the efficiency in the fight against the
separatists." It is reported by Ukrainian edition "Uryadovy
(government) courier".
In
addition to extending the powers of the "guards", the
President has put more power into the hands of the special services.
For
example, the state service of special communication has the
opportunity to listen to telephone calls and monitor other
communication channels without f court orders.
All
this empowerment of the power of the state, in which power structures have virtually
unimpeded right to interfere in the private life of citizens, is reminiscent of the US.
Still!
If almost every day Kiev is visited by American officials of a various ranks, then
soon the whole system of the country will be start to resemble the "democracy" of the US along with its Maidan specifics.
Washington
is now running Ukraine by control mode, (and not only
remote control - given the number of American visitors).
