Tens
of thousands of demonstrators clad in Guy Fawkes masks have descended
on central London to protest capitalism and digital privacy
incursions by state security services.
Thursday's
Bonfire Night 'Million Mask March' is being organised by hacktivist
collective 'Anonymous', and will see marches being held in 650 other
cities across the globe.

Police
have ramped up numbers in a bid to curb violence and anti-social
behaviour, but Scotland Yard told The Huffington Post UK that three
males had already been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an
offensive weapon.
The
suspects, aged 38, 50 and 55, were stopped and searched in Trafalgar
Square, one of the capital's busiest tourist hotspots, and found
carrying lock-picks, smoke grenades and knives.
November
5's annual festivities officially kicked off at 6pm this evening,
with demonstrators carrying placards saying: "One solution,
revolution."
A
curfew has been issued for marchers, in anticipation that tonight's
events could turn violent, as in previous years.....[ ]
