Dump Trucks Filled with Sand Blockade Trump Tower in NYC over Fears of Car / Truck Bomb Attack
Large
New York City Dump Trucks, filled with sand, are parked
bumper-to-bumper at the curb directly in front of Trump Tower today,
as fears of a car or truck bomb force a major upgrade to security for
Donald Trump.
Not
only would the trucks prevent a car or truck from being deliberately
driven through the front doors into the lobby, but the sand in the
trucks would serve to buffer any blast which may occur on the street.
The
US Secret Service would not comment on security arrangements, but a
worker from Trump Tower who is privy to such things told
SuperStation95 the upgrades were a result of an "abundance of
caution." He did not mention if there was any credible
threat.
In
the meantime, voting is taking place throughout the United States
with reports of "very heavy" voter turnout. The
Superintendent of Elections for New York City told SuperStation95
