NZ Maori solidarity with the Water Guardians at Standing Rock


The NZ television programme, Marae, was reportedly the only international teelvision media to make it through to Standing Rock despite being intimidated and told to turn back by US police.

This is an inspiring video that expresses soldarity between the Lakota people and New Zealand Maori.

What struck me, watching this, is how similar the two peoples are.
