Towards the cashless society

The following was an interesting exhange from Mike Ruppert's Facebook page that in combination with this story may indicate the way things may be moving in the States

Golden Gate Bridge refuses cash

Hey this is completely unrelated yet it got me thinking about a cashless future and all the ugly facets that entails beyond mere convenience.

Today I saw a sign on the road saying the Golden Gate Bridge is no longer accepting cash after March 27.

You'll have the option of Fastrak, a 'License plate account' which bills your debit card when you drive through, or, generating a toll invoice. Lol,

Obviously, some folks don't think things through very clearly.

What about tourists in rental cars, folks with no credit cards, etc, etc... and what about soon jobless toll takers?

Anyway, as much as it's unrelated, I can't help but think it is related in an indirect way, the notion of a world where everything is tracked and there is no escaping Big Brother”.

And Mike Ruppert's response -

No, it's not unrelated at all. TPTW are moving to have complete information on everyone in the city, and to be able to identify and block targets.

This makes that possible. Couple that with complete video surveillance of the bridge and it'll be fairly easy to ID and corral "undesirables". -- This is only the first bridge.

Things are moving very quickly.”
