British agriculture hit by floods

Flood-hit farmers in Britain fear disastrous year

The bad weather and flooding that has battered much of south-west and southern Britain has left many farms covered by floodwater.

In Somerset a lot of productive farmland has been lost, with more than 43 square miles flooded.

Jeremy Cooke reports the Somerset Levels, where farmers are fearing a disastrous year.
