Reflections on the last few days

To the depths and back

Seemorerocks

The last few days have been some of the darkest I have known.

In the midst of a medically-unacknowledged (and therefore untreatable) health condition I have developed flu- or cold-like conditions (and I emphasise the cold- like) which has magnified the level of physical symptoms.

Every time some episode like this occurs it has invariably marked a worsening in my total health – never a return to even 'relative' health.

On top of this (and coping with all of this on my own while my partner is away) we have been assaulted by a barrage of news that can be described as “when you feel it can't get any worse, it invariably does”

On top of everything that is ongoing there has been the news of a ground assault by the zionists on Gaza, with an opportunity for the residents to 'evacuate'. (Hardly anyone seems to ask where in an open prison the people are going to evacuate to – the Mediterranean?!) All this is while Israelis are baying for blood and shouting every time a target is hit inside Gaza.

And now we have news that a CNN correspondent has been taken off the job for describing this situation in her own words on Twitter. How dare she criticise the raving mobs!

And then there has been the shooting down of the Malaysian airliner over eastern Ukraine.

I really felt yesterday that I had come to the end of the line and there was nowhere to go.

When physical resilience goes out the window it is almost inevitable that mental and emotional resilience will go the same way under pressure.

However, letting this all just swarm around in my consciousness and be processed in the hours of sleep, and I have awoken to a passable level of normality; when I sit in front of the screen and write something else takes over and I find the strength to go on.

What to I wake up to this morning?

Despite the fact that nobody knows what has happened the POTUS, the Defense Department and the whole of the corporate media has made up its mind (on the basis of zero evidence) whodunnit.

Guess what – it was the Antichrist Vladimir Putin, of course!

The British tabloid media is frothing at the mouth and stopping just short of demanding nukes against Moscow -

MH17 blood on Putin's hands...

By the way, there's a prize for anyone who can find a headline (or even content) of this nature in RT, or elsewhere in mainstream Russian media.

And in a MSM- coup against the hated RT (hated by western media because, in the words of Peter Lavelle, it is a …, and challenges the lies and assumptions of the western media) – UK RT correspondent Sarah Firth decides it's time to move on to another job. But to do that she needs to establish her anti-Russian credentials by making ludicrous charges of 'biased reporting' by RT on the Malaysian airlines shootdown.

The liberal Guardian rubs its hands in glee with this embarrassment for an media outlet that should be an ally (except for where it matters)

Sara Firth criticises Kremlin-backed news channel’s ‘disrespect for facts’ in reports about Malaysia Airlines plane disaster.

Today, I feel particularly bitter - that truth has well-and-truly taken a back step in the face of  shameless and egregious  lies.

And, except for an energetic minority who are willing to investigate and establish for themselves where, in all probability (and that's as far as any of us can go in the 'fog of war') the truth lies.

The minds of the western media have been made up long before the dust has settled and investigation has been carried out and any ludicrous theory will do so long as the West's beloved fascist Junta is not implicated.

No one looks at the classical aspects of motive and opportunity. What opportunity have the rebels had to ensure access to the weapons ( not to mention training in its use).

And if Moscow was implicated what was the motive?

But, I suppose if you're dealing with the Antichrist, you don't need to worry about motive.

If we are going to indulge in conspiracy theory (as the western media is en masse) then we may as well add some of our own.

On balance, I would say the evidence for a False Flag operation by the Ukrainians is greater than that carried by the  Daily Mail or anyone else.

Unless you choose to believe (as some I know do) that all truth comes from on high, from the BBC or CNN.

Headlines on MH-17

Unverified tape released by Kiev presented as ‘proof’ E. Ukraine militia downed MH17

The Ukrainian Security Service has released what it calls “intercepted phone conversations,” which are supposed to prove that Donetsk self-defence forces shot down Malaysia Airlines MH17 flight on Thursday – presumably, by mistake.

US confident surface-to-air missile brought down MH17 – Obama

President Barack Obama called for a cease-fire between Ukraine and pro-Russian separatists in the east of Ukraine to allow a complete investigation into the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17.

Who expects Kiev or Washington will answer them?

Malaysia MH17 crash: 10 questions Russia wants Ukraine to answer

......

1. Immediately after the tragedy, the Ukrainian authorities, naturally, blamed it on the self-defence forces. What are these accusations based on?

2. Can Kiev explain in detail how it uses Buk missile launchers in the conflict zone? And why were these systems deployed there in the first place, seeing as the self-defence forces don’t have any planes?

3. Why are the Ukrainian authorities not doing anything to set up an international commission? When will such a commission begin its work?

4. Would the Ukrainian Armed Forces be willing to let international investigators see the inventory of their air-to-air and surface-to-air missiles, including those used in SAM launchers?
5. Will the international commission have access to tracking data from reliable sources regarding the movements of Ukrainian warplanes on the day of the tragedy?
6. Why did Ukrainian air traffic controllers allow the plane to deviate from the regular route to the north, towards the anti-terrorist operation zone”?

7. Why was airspace over the warzone not closed for civilian flights, especially since the area was not entirely covered by radar navigation systems?

8. How can official Kiev comment on reports in the social media, allegedly by a Spanish air traffic controller who works in Ukraine, that there were two Ukrainian military planes flying alongside the Boeing 777 over Ukrainian territory?
9. Why did Ukraine’s Security Service start working with the recordings of communications between Ukrainian air traffic controllers and the Boeing crew and with the data storage systems from Ukrainian radars without waiting for international investigators?
10. What lessons has Ukraine learned from a similar incident in 2001, when a Russian Tu-154 crashed into the Black Sea? Back then, the Ukrainian authorities denied any involvement on the part of Ukraine’s Armed Forces until irrefutable evidence proved official Kiev to be guilty.

Moscow calls for intl probe into Malaysia MH17 flight crash – Russia’s UN envoy

Russia urges an impartial and open investigation into the Malaysian Boeing 777 crash in Ukraine and an international commission to be set up. Addressing the UN, Russia’s envoy Churkin said a probe into Ukraine's aviation authorities is also necessary.

As we see it, it is necessary to investigate not only the crash itself but also how Ukraine's aviation authorities performed their professional duties,” Russia's Ambassador to the UN Vitaly Churkin said as he questioned why a passenger flight was allowed over an area of armed conflict.

The Final Moments Of Flight MH-17: The Russian Side Of The Story

Yesterday, we laid out extensively what the official Ukrainian case was when it came to "proof" that Russian separatists had launched the Buk missile which allegedly took down flight MH-17; we also highlighted several glaring inconsistencies and questions that still remained open after the "incriminatory" YouTube clip release. So far, any international response has been muted to this hastily prepared evidence of Russian involvement, although the day is still young.

So what about the Russian side? Below we present the key arguments made by Russia to suggest that not it, but Ukraine, was responsible for taking down the Malaysian Boeing

'It is suspicious the plane has deviated from the route it usually takes'
As the world mourns the tragic loss of 298 people in Malaysian Airlines plane crash over Ukraine, questions have arisen over unusual circumstances of the tragedy. RT talks to Wireless Communications professor Mischa Dohler.

  1. I resonate with your opening lines.. it indeed take a lot of effort to get out of bed these days. 2 super cyclones in our area, millions displaced plus these man made disasters..
