Slavyansk - what this is REALLY about

As demanded by their Western backers and owners (which now includes Joe Biden's son), Kiev is already installing fracking equipment in recently occupied Slavyansk, in the midst of a civil war they can no longer even pay for.

DONETSK, 25 July. /ITAR-TASS/. Under Slavyansk, who for three months had fierce fighting Ukrainian troops began preparing for shale gas. This is reported by the locals, the site of the "Novorossia".

Residents of Slavyansk were preparing to hold a referendum on this issue.


Environmentalists are concerned about the effects used in the production of shale gas technology of hydraulic fracturing. Public activists consider that used this technology, the chemicals have a high degree of toxicity, resulting risk would be not only ground water, and atmosphere.

Experts note that the issue of disposal of harmful substances in the course of development of shale gas has not been solved in any country in the world.
