The Lifeboat Hour - 01/12/2014

Paul Beckwith and rapid climate change

On tonight’s LIFEBOAT HOUR at 9 PM Eastern – Climate Scientist Paul Beckwith is to Global Warming and Climate Chaos what Mimi German is to radiation at Radcast. He is a bridge between our awareness of imminent, life-threatening crises and how we can access and use that information in our daily lives.

A part-time Professor of Geography at the University of Ottawa, Paul is a Ph.D. student specializing in abrupt climate change, climatology and meterology.

His current research interest are:
Abrupt climate change (system analysis)
Arctic sea-ice behaviour
Methane and carbon dioxide concentrations
System feedbacks
Regional geoengineering
Climate change education and presentations
Social media climate change advocacy

And he makes a hell of a good YouTube video.
