Tropical storm headed for Japan

Tropical Storm 24 - Danas

They were wrong about the previous storns. This storm looks likely to hit Japan on target

2 more typhoons coming

close to Japan

5 October, 2013

Although they may not directly hit Fukushima plant area, two typhoons (Fitow and Danas) are coming to the South-West of Japan from 10/5 ~ 10/8/2013.
According to Tepco, every time it rains heavily, 1,400 tonnes of rainwater turns to be contaminated water to be transferred to the tanks, which Tepco is running out of.

On 10/2/2013, they had another tank leakage due to the Typhoon.
(cf, [New leakage] 200,000,000 Bq/m3 was leaking for 12 hours max / Patrol didn’t notice “because it was raining” [URL])

The two continuous Typhoon hitting may cause more contaminated water leakage and make it sooner when Tepco completely runs out of the water storage.
