Government
Spies on Depressed Tweeters, Obama's Koch Problem & Radical
Environmentalism
On
this episode of Breaking the Set, Abby Martin remarks on the
existence of a new program sponsored by the National Institutes of
Health, that scans twitter for people displaying signs of mental
illness. Abby then calls out Obama for refusing to make a decision on
the Keystone XL oil pipeline, and speaks with author and
environmentalist, Derrick Jensen, about the intersection between
industry and sustainability and what radical actions must be taken to
stop environmental catastrophe. Abby then calls attention to the
gross underestimation of Iraq War casualties, and calls out the WHO
over a report that blatantly covers up the connection between the use
of depleted uranium by occupation forces and congenital birth defects
among Iraqis. BTS wraps up the show with a discussion about a few of
the most shocking US government conspiracies that turned out to be
true.
