I
made it onto mainstream media – sort of, with this letter being
read out by Wallace Chapman on Radio NZ's flagship Sunday program
Dear
Wallace,
What
a week of horror and irony!
The
dust hasn't settled on the steppes of Ukraine and the investigation has
not even begun and yet it seems to be all settled as to who was
responsible for this deed - all seemingly based on the evidence of an
audiotape currently produced by someone on YouTube.
Unfortunately,
when they produce this the day before the accident they did not
realise that these things leave electronic traces.
However
despite all of that, it seems to be good enough for the Pentagon and
for the world media, despite the fact that this audio has been
revealed as a fake, for they are continuing to quote it as 'genuine'
but 'uncorroborated evidence'.
Still,
Putin needs to be held responsible and the rebels punished for
shooting down Ukrainian air force planes on their way to bomb the
women and children of Donetsk or Luhansk - something seems to have
been left out of the narrative of the media.
Indeed,
the week of tragedy – and irony.
A
Tale of Three Tragedies and Two Cities: #MH17, the Donbass, and Gaza

The
downing of MH17 was a tragedy. But the objective truth is that many
more innocent civilians in the Donbass have been mass murdered by the
West-backed regime that has seized power in Kiev, and that grim toll
continues to rise hourly. Conveniently, the Kiev regime is exploiting
the tragedy with impunity to escalate their indiscriminate shelling
of Lugansk and other towns and relaunch new offensives on all fronts,
knowing they are now less likely to be criticized or held to account
for their war crimes than ever before.
The
truth is that the tragedy of MH17 gives them complete license and
carte blanche to subjugate the people of the Donbass into accepting
their rule by brutal military force and ethnic cleansing. No lies are
too big now that they won't be eagerly adopted by the Western MSM and
no horrors too great that they won't be ignored and swept under the
carpet. It is "Putin's fault" after all, at the end of the
day...
The
difference in Western MSM and elite reaction between the justified
outrage and grief over the victims of MH17 and the complete
indifference and lack of simple human empathy over the mass murder of
civilians in the Donbass by their own would-be rulers, shows us
clearly that to the West some humans are more equal than others, some
lives are worthy of consideration, and others' aren't. The Western
MSM has gone out of their way to dismiss the people of East Ukraine,
deny them political agency, and try to invalidate and delegitimize
their social and cultural identity. They simply don't care when those
being killed are ethnic Russians or otherwise "Russian
orientated". Russophobia, hatred of Russians is acceptable, even
justified. Those who reject the one truth of "liberation"
and "liberalism" that the West is trying to force on them
are benighted and brainwashed "lost causes". If the Russian
people were not considered "white", we would call this
racism.
We
see the reaction, or lack of said, between what is being done to the
people of the Donbass, paralleled eerily with what is happening in
Gaza at the same time. The two events are not unrelated. Both are
under attack. The cities of both Lugansk and Gaza, both full of
people, were subjected to bombing and attempts at storming last
night. The West backs the regimes that are committing atrocities in
both. The Western MSM ignores or cheerleads on the mass murder of
civilians and ethnic cleansing in both. The resistance in both is
ultimately fighting the same enemy. The lives lost are chaff to the
West's geopolitical and Hegemonic games and lust for global control.
And
although a final attribution to the exact circumstances of the
downing of MH17 requires a complete and impartial independent
investigation, there are a lot of questions that need answering, IMHO
the evidence is growing that it is likely that the victims of the
downed plane and the mass repression and ethnic cleansing campaign in
the Donbass have the same perpetrator - the West-installed and backed
regime occupying Kiev.
With regards to the Guardian, I can't really express it any better than Mark!
If
there is anyone the Western MSM can put on the air with credibility
to speak about and pronounce on the MH17 tragedy before the
investigation even starts - its gotta be Pussy Riot. EPIC FUCKING
Guardian PROPAGANDA Fail
In
Russia, errors like shooting down a Malaysia Airlines jet could not
have happened, so they simply won't have happened
"Since
the conflict in eastern Ukraine began, Russian propaganda has sought
to portray it (Ukraine's civil war) as a civil war, an internecine
Ukrainian conflict—a formulation that was a comfortable
dissimulation for many European democracies that wanted to avoid
disrupting their economic relations with Russia".
