Vicious! Azerbaijan Strikes

City with Cluster Bombs!!

Hal Turner,

4 September, 2020

The ongoing war between Azerbaijan and Armenia is getting so vicious that civilian cities are now being hit by Azerbaijan with CLUSTER BOMBS!

Stepanakert, a small city with a population of about 60,000, came under missile attack yesterday by Azerbaijan.    At least THREE CLUSTER BOMBS impacted the city.  Here's video of TWO such bombs detonating in Stepanakert:

Clusters heard at :16 and again at :34 seconds . . .

The third Cluster can actually be partially SEEN in the video below, and the results are also shown to a small extent:

For those unaware, a CLUSTER BOMB looks and works as shown below:

These weapons are so vicious, over 100 countries have signed a Treaty banning their use.   Azerbaijan has NOT signed such a Treaty.

Azerbaijan is using these weapons against CIVILIANS!  Look at the town itself, this isn't a military target:

This morning (Sunday) reports from Stepanakert that drones, artillery and even LORA missiles are being used. Air defenses have been attempting to shoot them down but there are so many it's proving difficult. Sirens continue through the morning.

In response, Armenia hit the airport at Ganja, Azerbaijan. Numerous reports say the entire airport was destroyed.

OUTSIDERS

As the fighting intensifies between Azerbaijan (aggressor) and Armenia (victim), other nations are already involving themselves.  Turkey is at the forefront of underhanded activities, sending supplies, weapons and even fighter jets into the fray against Armenia.

Worse, Turkey has begin shipping weapons and supplies into Azerbaijan via Georgia.   Dozens of tractor trailers are lining up at the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan, protected by Georgian police, to bring more weapons into Azerbaijan.

Moreover, the Turkish government has an odd notion of what violates the Geneva Convention.  This morning Turkey whined: "Turkey condemns Armenia's attack on Ganja" calling it a violation of the Geneva Convention.

Of course Turkey said NOTHING about the Azerbaijan attacks on Stepanakert.

Let's not forget Turkey still refuses to take responsibility for the Armenian genocide, which was the greatest, most cruel genocide in human history. Christian Armenian girls were stripped, raped and crucified along roads. Armenians haven't forgotten.

OLDEST CHRISTIAN NATION ON EARTH

Armenia is the oldest Christian nation on earth.  By 301 AD, the Kingdom of Armenia became the first state to declare Christianity as its official religion following the conversion of the Royal House of the Arsacids in Armenia. The Armenian Apostolic Church is the world's oldest national church.

They are under attack by Muslim barbarians from Azerbaijan and Turkey.

UPDATE 10:11 AM EDT --

The video below is gut-wrenching.  It shows a residential neighborhood in Stepanakert, Armenia.   Nice, well-maintained homes on a quiet, clean, street.  People inside are sleeping, or just waking up for breakfast.

Then, the air-raid sirens sound because Muslim Azerbaijan is attacking.  MORE CLUSTER BOMBS.   Watch:

This conflict is growing.

Azerbaijani Prosecutors Say 5 People Hospitalized After Mingecevir Shelling Attack

BAKU (Sputnik) - The Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office has said on Sunday evening that five people have been hospitalized after the city of Mingecevir was shelled amid the ongoing hostilities in the region.

"At 23:00 [19:00 GMT] on October 4, 2020, upon the order of the military-political leadership of Armenia, the armed forces of this country deliberately targeted the civilian population of the city of Mingecevir, with a population of more than 100,000 people, located more than 100 kilometers [62 miles] from the theater of military operations," the Prosecutor General's Office said in a statement.

According to prosecutors, three projectiles fell in the vicinity of the city. Two of them did not explode, but the third fell near a civilian residence, injuring five people, according to the statement.

"Two out of the three projectiles did not explode. One of the unexploded projectiles fell in front of the building of the Azerbaijan Thermal Power Plant. The other fell near a civilian residence. Five people suffered injuries and were hospitalized. The residence was seriously damaged," the ministry said.

Prosecutors are continuing their investigation and are clarifying the number of victims and the damages caused to civilian infrastructure.

Armenia & Azerbaijan Conflict Explained

Turkey, the primary backer of Baku in the ongoing Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, has accused Armenia of targeting Ganja, Azerbaijan’s second city, with strikes. Ankara also insisted Yerevan has violated the Geneva Conventions.

The attacks on Ganja, home to roughly 332,000 people, are “a new manifestation of Armenia's unlawful attitude,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry commented on Sunday. The city endured a string of rocket artillery strikes earlier on Sunday, with projectiles causing damage to numerous buildings and setting off fires.

“Facing defeat in the territories of Azerbaijan it occupies, Armenia violates all principles of humanitarian law, especially the Geneva Conventions,” the ministry said in a statement, referring to the legally binding agreements which prohibit targeting civilians in wartime and mandate signatories to avoid injuring non-combatants at all cost.

Earlier, Baku said one civilian had been killed and 32 wounded in the city, accusing Armenia of shelling Ganja from inside its own territory. Yerevan has dismissed the allegations. In a separate twist, it claimed Azerbaijani forces fired rockets at Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh's capital, where casualties were reported earlier in the day.
