Methane emissions at the beginning of the season already EXCEED their 2019 maximum

These figures, collected by Margo show the increase of methane levels at 500 mb.



The methane emissions last year peaked at 1885 ppb in mid-OCTOBER last year.

Yesterday's figures exceed that and we are only in mid-JULY.




This shows clearly the alarming melting away of ice that was once 20 feet thick.
