the first example, at Occupation Oakland the demonsrations were
largely peaceful and the police responded with great violence. We
even had a policeman spraying seated demonstrators with tear gas.
This
was 'restoring order'

second is a brutal video of demonstrators persuing and beating
policemen in Kiev.
This
is portrayed as the heroic struggle of an oppostion against a
dictatorial regime that was elected in an election that was at the
time deemed 'free and fair' and the EU was in negotiations with until
recently

ask you what government in the world, whether 'democratic' or not
would tolerate this degree of break-down of public order?
Which one is manifesting the actions of an un-democratic, police state?
