Climate scientists have estimate that "stabilitzation" will take at least one thousand years. However, by then, virtually all life will be extinct. The Climate News Network has released a new scientific assessment that the world's oceans will heat by at least 6C. They didn't bother to make mention of what this would mean for land / air temperatures. But I will tell you - NOTHING alive will survive such temperatures.
