Elections: National Party deceit and intimidiation

This is yet another example of the role of media.

My partner, Pam heard this on a news broadcast by Radio New Zealand before daybreak. By the time of its main news programme which starts at 6 am, it had disappeared and I couldn't find anything on it.

I have tracked the following down.

Bear in mind that it still appears to be unconfirmed - but, I would say, bound to be true

Beware of National: More Dirty Politics

I'm issuing this warning as a result of a request from a Pacific church minister who wishes to remain anonymous.

Someone representing National got their congregation members to sign forms which they didnt fully understand.

Later they received a letter saying they were now members of the National Party, and they must now vote National.

The church minister is a staunch Labour supporter and today voted for Labour and wanted me to issue this warning so that anyone who may have signed up to becoming a National Party member without fully realizing what they were doing will know they have no obligation to vote for the Nats. People should just vote Labour or any other party they want.

Whoever this National person is signing the Pacific community into Nationals database with the implicit intention of using coercion tactics to vote Nats is revealing Nationals #dirtypolitics tactics.
