Israel has violated the ceasefire - they always have - unless you adopt an Orwellian view of things

According
to Palestinian sources, the incident occurred east of Khan Yunis on
Sunday, four days after Hamas resistance movement and Tel Aviv agreed
to an Egyptian-brokered truce which ended an eight-day conflict.
Israeli military sources, however, claimed that Israeli forces stationed near the Gaza border fired bullets in the air after a group of Palestinians gathered near the so-called security fence, adding that they were not aware of injuries.

Sunday's shooting is Israeli's second violation of the truce. On Friday, Israeli soldiers opened fire on residents of Khouzaa, near Khan Yunis, killing one Palestinian and wounding many others.
Israeli launched a major military offensive against the besieged Gaza Strip between November 14 and 21, which left over 160 Palestinians, including many women and children, dead and about 1,200 others injured.
According to the Israeli military more than 1,500 targets were hit across the Palestinian territory.
In retaliation, Palestinian resistance fighters fired rockets and missiles into Israeli cities, killing at least five Israelis.
The violence ended after the Israeli regime and the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement agreed to an Egyptian-brokered cease-fire on November 21.
Hamas spokesman Taher al-Nunu told reporters in Gaza City on Sunday that Israel's eight-day aggression against the coastal enclave has caused more than USD1.2 billion in direct and indirect damages.
The recent Israeli military operation against the Gaza Strip is Tel Aviv's second deadly attack on Gaza in four years. Israeli regime waged a 22-day war on the densely populated Palestinian enclave in 2008, which left more than 1,400 Palestinians, including at least 300 children, dead.
Gaza has been under crippling Israeli blockade since 2007, after democratically-elected Hamas movement took over the administration of the enclave.
